Welcome to our office! In an effort to serve you more efficiently and to help establish a trusting relationship, we have found that an understanding of our policies prior to your first session will answer many of your questions as well as minimize misunderstandings.
Confidentiality: We are committed to keep anything you say to us confidential. The following are exceptions: (a) You direct us to inform an insurance company or any other agency about your counseling. (b) We determine that your actions may pose a danger to yourself or to others. (c) We are ordered to do so by the courts. (d) The reporting of child or elder abuse as required by law.
Office Hours: The office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Friday 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM, by appointment. Virtual sessions are also available.
Canceled Appointments: If it is necessary to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. This enables us to offer your reserved time to another client. If we do not receive this advance notice, the regularly hourly fee will be charged to your account.
Telephone Calls: Your call will be returned as soon as possible, usually within one business day. Lengthy telephone calls, consultations and correspondence will be billed at the regular hourly rate.
Fees: The counseling fee of $200.00 is based on a 45-50 minute session. The charge for each session is due at the time of service.
